MIAMI INTENSIVE WEEKEND

During this 3 days training intensive offered once a year, you'll have access to exclusive in person coaching with Sofia, exploring her method hands on.

Topics addressed: Flexibility (spine, shoulders, hips and legs), Contortion skills (backbends, handstands), Prehab/Rehab, Strength and Conditioning techniques fitting the adult body.

Friday July 18th, 1-4pm:

Full body warm up, prehab/rehab explained

Splits and Backbends, leg balancing/leg strengthening

Strengthening of shoulders, back and hips.

Saturday July 19th, 1-4pm:

Full body warm up, prehab/rehab

Contortion Backbends and handstands (basic and advanced depending on students)

Strengthening of shoulders, back and hips.

Sunday July 20th, 1-4pm:

Full body warm up

Contortion Backbends and Handstands

Splits (floor and vertical).

On Sunday morning will also be provided the opportunity to shoot with a professional photographer on Muscle Beach, if you want to capture some lasting memories of you weekend in Miami (this is optional, yet a recommended group experience!)

Muscle Beach, 9th St & Ocean Dr (photoshoot).

Online Contortion Course

Level 1

(6 weeks)

This 6 Weeks Course consists of one live weekly meeting on Zoom, plus access to our Community Group chat.

PREREQUISITES: none.
Material of the Course includes:

Intro Backbends and warm ups

Foot Grab in Backbends

Front and Middle Splits
Cobra/Bow Pose
Bridge/Forearm Bridge

Intro Needle Scale
Intro Cheststand and Conditioning

Prehab/rehab, Strength training basics

Intro to Hand balancing

Beginner Combos/Transitions


 

Online Contortion Course Level 2 (6 weeks)

This 6 Weeks Contortion Course is an intermediate/advanced level. It consists of one 2 hrs live weekly meeting on Zoom, plus access to our Community Group chat.


PREREQUISITES: Experience with Foot Grab, Cheststand, Bridge, Bow Pose, Forearm Stand and 3 ways Splits. (Level 1 not mandatory but strongly recommended).

Spots are limited so you can have as much individual guidance as possible.

Material of the Course includes:

Progression of warm ups

Backbending in splits (Needle Scale)

Front and Middle oversplits progressions
Progression of cobras and bridges (queen cobra, full wheel)
Cheststands and Conditioning variations

Prehab/rehab, Strength training

Hand balancing

Intermediate/advanced Combos/Transitions
