THE BENDY LIFE METHOD
Sofia's training method and coaching style is influenced by Mongolian Contortion, flexibility training, conditioning and weight training. Beside the physical aspect of training, Sofia pushes her students to build a strong mindset as well, inspiring them through her own journey (she was not very naturally flexible and started later in life) and motivating them to overcome fear and self doubt, which can arise with this challenging type of training. This approach brings a healthy, functional body able to move freely in its full range of motion, exploring its limits while reducing injury risk, feeling empowered throughout the learning process. Strength, flexibility and balance are developed together with different techniques fitting specifically the adult body.
Sofia’s method is also known for being influenced by her past experience as a dancer, which adds to her movement style confidence, unique sensuality and fluidity.
